Introducing Fantastic Beasts games all this month from Wizarding World Gaming!

Wizarding World Gaming is back, and this month, going bigger than ever. Starting on Dec. 7th, 2016, we will share videos with you from Fantastic Beasts - Lego Dimensions! We will try to bring a video to you at least once a week, but we might not get one every week.

A new club member, Ripper, will create the Fantastic Beasts Adventure World videos, as well as the Harry Potter Adventure World videos. These will be posted toward the end of the month, and into the new year.

Then, after the month is concluded, we will start a series on the Lego Harry Potter Collection for PS4, instead of the mobile Lego HP games that we intended to bring you, as our software quit. Still, it will be just as good, if not far better.

Let's just say that at J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World Of Harry Potter Club, we are very excited to bring you more content!

Happy Halowe'en!

Hallowe'en is an important day for Harry Potter. Not just because he's a wizard at a magical castle, but because of the many things that happened on Hallowe'en. Harry's parents died, Hermione was attacked by a troll, and Mrs. Norris was petrified after Nearly Headless Nick's Deathday Party, just to name a few.

With shining Jack O'Lanterns, bubbling cauldrons, and witches on brooms, it's only natural that Hallowe'en is important to Harry Potter and his classmates.

Happy Hallowe'en!

Yesterday, we got to see the wonderful fan event, where J.K. Rowling herself announced that there will be five Fantastic Beasts And Where To find Them movies!

We also learned quite a deal more about the actors and their characters, as well as Fantastic Beasts as a whole during the sneak peek featurette!

I'm sure I'm right in saying that we are all excited for November 18th when the first of FIVE Fantastic Beasts movies comes out.

This unique online experience is unlike any of the other Pottermore personality tests. It's a mix between a quiz, a game, and a video, and it's very exciting. Fantastic Beasts actor Eddie Redmayne, who play's Newt Scamander, discovered his patronus on Pottermore.

So think of your happiest memory, and "Expecto Patronum!"

Cursed Child, History Of Magic In North America, Pottermore Presents, Chamber Of Secrets Illustrated Edition, And Fantastic Beasts!

This year is definitely the year for potterheads. We've got Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, New Pottermore articles by J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets Illustrated Edition, three Pottermore Presents ebooks, and Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, just to name a few. And we can certainly expect more.

In July, we got to read about, (and lucky people who got tickets even got to watch), Harry's family, and the troubles that being Harry Potter, or his son for that matter, can cause.

In September, we got some exciting information about characters, places, and objects from the Harry Potter stories, in a three part e-book series, Pottermore Presents.
The books featured stories ranging from Remus Lupin, to Azkaban Prison.

The other day, the second Harry Potter book illustrated by Jim Kay, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets Illustrated Edition, was released. Filled with beautiful paintings of Kay's interpretation of the story, this book is definitely a must have for potterheads.

Finally, we recently received a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. In the trailer, we get a tantalizing glimpse of new characters, new places, and most of all, new challenges. We all can't wait until November 18th, when the movie will be released!

I'm very excited to see what J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World has to offer this year!

Resurrecting The Harry Potter Prequel

Back in 2008, J.K. Rowling published a handwritten 800 word story to benefit charity. The piece was sold at auction, and hasn't really been available for Potter fans to enjoy. As cool as it might be to read a Harry Potter story in Rowling's handwriting, some parts may be a little tricky to read. So for those who would like to read a typed copy, there is a link to a pdf below.

The typed story can be read here.

History Of Magic In North America

J.K. Rowling has published a four-part story about the founding of the the magical USA, as part of her Magic In North America Series! Read it here.

These stories are all about the history on America from the Seventeenth Century, to the 1920's.

Ilvermorny School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry

J.K. Rowling has published the story of the American school of magic, Ilvermorny, as part of her Magic In North America Series on Pottermore! Read it here.

We learn how Ilvermorny was founded by a young Irish girl, Isolt Sayre.

Rowling tells us of Isolt's friends and family, and how they start to shape the school that would one day be one of the world's premier Wizarding institutions.

We're also told of Isolt's dark witch aunt, Gormlaith Gaunt, and how she almost destroyed Isolt's family, and even Ilvermorny Castle itself.

Lastly we get I to find out about the four Ilvermorny houses, Wampus, Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, and Pukwudgie.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child!

The eighth story is finally here! Written as a script for the original play, the story focuses on Harry and his son, Albus.

"Nineteen years after the Battle Of Hogwarts...

It was always difficult being Harry Potter, and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry Of Magic, a husband, and a father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggled with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: darkness comes from unexpected places."
